Silent No More Pro-Life advocate Michelle Yax presented on the “Post-Abortive Women and the Abortion-Breast Cancer Link” for the annual Students for Life of Michigan Conference in Ann Arbor Saturday.
Speakers from all different backgrounds presented on Pro-Life topics. Four students represented
Yax shared her story and offered numerous statistics.
“One out of five women, who are given birth control, comes back pregnant, that’s 20 percent,” said Yax.
Yax continued with her story while some in the audience shed tears.
“After having the abortion, I thought I had given up my only chance of ever having a child of my own. I had robbed my child of his or her life; I believed that because of that, I didn’t deserve to be happy.”
Yax was experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder, a condition that 19-20 percent of women undergo after an abortion.
Yax did not only address abortion. Breast cancer was the other main topic in her presentation.

Yax said researchers have slowly been releasing information on the link between abortion and breast cancer.
According to Yax, the link has to do with the body not fully completing its natural cycle of pregnancy and being stopped short by abortion.
Researchers claim to have discovered this link but are still studying to find out more.
